3m standard groundsheet footprint feature. Tripod pole crown and ceiling feature in a 3m standard bell tent. Wall, pole, skirt. groundsheet and peg inside featured 3m standard bell tent. Features tripod pole system, groundsheet, canvas and pegs.

The 3-metre standard bell tent is hardwearing, robust and comes with a lightweight separate groundsheet so you can roll the walls up. Featuring an ingenious tripod pole system that really opens up the internal space to allow for a double mattress. An optional centre pole (available to purchase separately) drastically reduces the weight by 6.5kgs to make this a truly back-packable tent.

Ingenious tripod design makes the most of the space inside

Our innovative tripod frame replaces the traditional centre pole enabling this compact tent to accommodate a queen-size mattress without having a pole in the middle of it - a canvas Tardis!

Optional Centre Pole for lightweight camping

For those who want to travel light and even consider backpacking with this tent, we offer an optional centre pole so you can leave the tripod at home. This set-up reduces the carrying weight of the tent by 6.5kg (making the total weight 13kg). The separate groundsheet means you can split the load between two, making this a truly back-packable tent. This configuration comfortably fits two single mattresses.

Roll up the sides and let the breeze blow through

Our Standard Bell Tents feature a lightweight but robust, pegged-in groundsheet that completely separates from the canvas, allowing you to roll up the walls in warm weather. Let the cooling breeze flow through the tent on those lazy afternoons under canvas.

Should have upgraded

Bought this for weekend camping trips, really like the tent, the tripod is also great and gives lots of space. 4 stars because the pegged down groundsheet can be fiddly, especially in awful weather. Wish I had gone for a deluxe.

Bought for our kids to put up in our grandparent's Garden in Sussex over the summer holidays. Has done us well for lots of garden camping!

Fits on the motorbike

It's our second Tent from Bell Tent UK
The 5m Ultimate works great for our family of 5 and wanted an annex for mum and dad to get some privacy.
Went for the optional centre pole which saves a load of weight and space and took it on motorbike trip around Wales.
Great cosy space that's easy to keep warm.

Dinky little thing

Brough this for the kids to have their own space next to our 5m {Pro) Works great and glad I sent for the optional single main pole as that makes it alot lighter and easier to put up quick. Ended up taking it to Glasto with the single pole and worked a treat. Recomneded

Great tent, recommend the tripod pole.

I bought this tent with the additional single pole. Turns out the tripod pole is not that much heavier to carry but so much more convenient when camping. Somehow I thought I should have a single centre pole ... like in the "old days". I was mistaken. I now prefer not having to walk around the pole or worry I'll bump into it when stumbling around in the dark and collapse the tent.
