“What a brilliant piece of design!” An Ecological Fan for stoves.

We came across this amazing invention and although it is not specifically designed to use in a tent we feel it’s perfect for moving hot air from your stove around a tent thereby increasing the heating efficiency of your wood or coal burning stove.


If you imagine your stove in the corner of the 5metre tent – this leaves a big space for the air to circulate.  Using the Eco Fan greatly helps this process and ensures your tent is a snug and cosy place to crash out in at the end of the day.

The Ecofan Original are heat-powered fans designed to circulate the warm air, created by a stove, operating with normal surface temperatures of between 205 and 345 degrees centigrade.  Using the heat from the stove the fans create their own electricity to operate.

These fans do not use batteries so are completely FREE to operate.


A fantastic way to circulate the warm air directly into the living area of your tent. 
Easy to operate; Ecofans start automatically and adjust speed with the stove’s temperature.  As the stove heats up the Ecofan runs faster to move more air into the room. As the stove burns down and cools, the Ecofan automatically slows down and stops.
