Our 4.4m Touareg Tents are available in both the Standard and Deluxe style – the Touareg has head height doorways (so no more crouching down to get inside) and has large mosquito net windows on both sides.
They pack down small and take 1 person less than 15 minutes to put up or take down. Named after the Touareg, the Nomadic tribe of North Africa who have slept under canvas in the desert for centuries, this 100% cotton canvas tent mirrors the beautiful silhouette of their homes.

We thoroughly recommend our stunning rustic tea light chandeliers which give off both light and warmth. In our experience this is the best way to light up your tent - everyone looks gorgeous in candle light and they create a very romantic atmosphere. They hang from or lower to make the most of the light and surprising amount of warmth.
Unlike our Bell Tents the sides on the Touareg don't need to roll up as there is so much ventilation available anyway what with the large doors and opening window flaps both front and back.
On a Deluxe Bell Tent you lose the option of rolling the walls up but, as that's not a factor here, you need to consider other points.
Both versions deal well with most of what the UK weather has to throw at them so the Deluxe only comes into its own if you are suddenly camping in several inches of standing water. If you are the type of camper who calls it a day when it starts to get stupid go for the normal version.
The Deluxe Touareg weighs 35kg and the normal version with separate groundsheet is 23.4kg. The only difference in the tents is the groundsheet, the rest of it is identical. Ask yourself if the extra protection is worth humping an extra 11.6 kg around?
Is having the Deluxe worth the extra £80? If you have any questions feel free to call us on 07830 355 993
In a little attempt to save some trees and resources we no longer include paper instructions with our tents - we have seen too many sets of instructions blowing past at too many festivals...click below to download the instruction PDF and if possible familiarize yourself with them on screen (they are pretty logical and only usually require one read) before going camping and only print them off if you really need to.

Our canvas is now tested to European BS5852 standards - see Features tab for more information!
This Touareg Tent comfortably fits 4 double air mattresses (if you fancy a love in, or for a family) but if you just go for the one its like a palace in there. As you can see from the pictures with a bit of effort you can create your own vibe and be the envy of everyone in naff modern tents with no soul.

We now offer Inner Tents for the Touareg and it can either one or two, either side of the central 'alley' depending on your needs. Each Inner Tent will just fit a queensize mattress, and offers another level of insulation, waterproof and bug-proofness. Most people only want one Inner Tent so the rest of the tent is open, but you can fit one on the other side for a second bedroom - remember you are only left with an 'alleyway' in the middle.

Please be aware that the Inner Tent for the Touareg Standard and the Touareg Deluxe is are different, so please make sure that you buy the right one (or two)!
Material is treated to be water resistant for up to 60 weeks of constant use. You can then re-proof the tent yourself, from around £25, or send it off to be professionally cleaned and re-proofed at www.cleanyourtent.com. It is also UV and mould-resistant (please note, no canvas is entirely mould-proof, so we strongly recommend that you take it down every now and then to dry it out completely when it has been up for a while, especially if it's become wet after rain)
