Camping with Soul has teamed up with the wonderful Natural Mat company, who make amazing, British, hand-made luxury mattresses, to produce these beautiful camping mattresses. Each mattress is lovingly made from recycled jeans and organic lambswool all covered in a beautiful, washable, 100% natural cotton ticking.

Not only are they comfy and gorgeous, but have a minute carbon footprint and you can use them all year round! Ideal for those unexpected guests who pop round and end up staying the night. Sorted!

What makes this Camping With Soul Naturalmat unique is that is has been designed using the same knowledge and techniques they used to create proper mattresses. It’s not just an air/foam filled parcel. With its recycled denim core, surrounded by 100% natural cotton, the Naturalmat gives great support and insulation from the ground, helping you have a peaceful night’s sleep.
 

They come in two sizes:

• Adult 80x190cm  - £159 for one, or £299 for two (to make your queen sized bed)
• Child 70x140cm  - £99 (up to 11 years)

The Adult Camping With Soul Naturalmat has a hidden Velcro strip down one side so two can be securely fastened together to create a proper, queen size bed, at 160x190cm

Our mat is also designed to be used at home either as a topper on an existing bed, or even a handy extra mattress for the unforeseen sleepover, when you’re not in a field. It also makes a wonderful bolster when rolled up, and as it has a full removable, washable, 100% natural cotton cover, it will keep its looks!

How it's made:


The Camping with Soul Naturalmat is made by hand in Devon with a core of recycled denim that’s shredded to create a comfy level of padded support, and this is then surrounded by organic lambswool, which is sourced from Soil Association certified organic farms in the Westcountry and processed in Devon. 


The wool is washed clean on the edge of Dartmoor (using water from the river Dart) which is then filtered and returned to the river with no environmental 
impact. In the final wash anti-bug treatment is added which is a solution derived from essential oils of lemon, eucalyptus and lavender. This makes the lambswool anti-dust mite, anti-bed bug and anti-moth AND mosquito repellent!

The camping mat is then covered in a traditional, blue-and-white-striped, quilted cotton ticking. The chocolate brown webbing straps, attached to the mat with Velcro tabs, make it easy to roll up, and provide a handy handle to carry it around.

Also, the mats have a Velcro strip along one side to enable 2 singles to be stuck together to make a generous double. There is even a covering piece to protect the Velcro from unwanted pieces of nature when it has no partner to stick to!
