Handmade Cotton Mattresses
Get yourself some real style and comfort with these soft roll up mattresses that make a welcome change to many inflatable mattress offerings.
Handmade, 100% cotton outers, with a man-made, polyfibre filling, these mattresses are perfect for adding some soul to your camping.
They can be partially or completely rolled up in the day to create a bolster to lean against on those warm summer afternoons.
(Best used for the kind of camping trip when you have a car, as they are a tad too large to carry!)

This item is shipped directly from our supplier, so the shipping cannot be combined with items directly from our warehouse, but up to three of these mattresses can be combined for £10.
Please note* unfortunately, we can't ship these items outside mainland UK due to their size and weight.
The factory in Kerala that makes our wonderful mattresses was founded in 1939 as a Handloom fabrics manufacturing unit. All of its products are manufactured using natural yarn like cotton, linen and jute.
The textiles have Skal International Certificates for the delivery of sustainable textile products. The colours / dyes used are Azo free and they have a very efficient pollution treatment plant. The treated effluent is used for watering coconut farms, so nothing is wasted.
The factory is an SA 8000 certified company (Social Accountability) which prohibits child and forced labour and guarantees the workers the right to bargain, making sure that they will be paid the wages as per government rules. Working hours are restricted to 8 hours in a day and maximum 48 hours in a week. All workers are covered under a Health Insurance scheme.
Not only that, but the factory is also an ISO 9001: 2000 certified company (this relates to its efficient and high quality management system).
