What makes it Deluxe?
The difference between the 4 metre and the 4 metre deluxe is that you get the added waterproof resistance of the ground sheet being permanently connected but you do lose the ability to roll the sides up on hot days. The deluxe ground sheet is also a lot thicker (PVC 540 g/m²) and heavier (hence the Deluxe weighing 8.5 kg more!). If you look at the picture below you can see way the groundsheet attaches.

We seriously recommend that you have a good think about when you are going to use your bell tent and ask yourself is it really necessary to spend the extra money on the Deluxe? Remember that one of the unique selling points of a bell tent is to be able to raise the sides and let the breeze through on a hot day and you don’t get that if it’s connected.

If you are planning on using the tent in really wet conditions go for the deluxe otherwise consider the cheaper option!
